2009 HEALTH PLAN MONTHLY PREMIUMS

The PECG MOU requires that the state pay 85% of the weighted average of the four largest plans for single coverage, and for the state to pay 80% of the additional premium for family members. The state’s contribution toward health plan premiums for 2009 for Unit 9 employees is $405 for single party, $788 for 2-party, and $1018 for family.  Employees must pay the difference between the state contribution and the total premium. Below are the 2009 rates for each plan at each enrollment level.  The "Out-of-Pocket Cost" is for Unit 9 employees.

(For supervisors and managers, the state's "CoBen" contribution for health, dental, and vision coverage will be $452/$872/$1,133.)
