2008 HEALTH PLAN MONTHLY PREMIUMS

The PECG MOU requires that the state pay 85% of the weighted average of the four largest plans for single coverage, and for the state to pay 80% of the additional premium for family members. The state’s contribution toward health plan premiums for 2008 for Unit 9 employees is $394 for single party, $763 for 2-party, and $982 for family.  Employees must pay the difference between the state contribution and the total premium. Below are the 2008 rates for each plan at each enrollment level.  The "Out-of-Pocket Cost" is for Unit 9 employees.

In 2008, Western Health Advantage has been discontinued by PERS.  However, Blue Shield HPN and PERS Select are being offered for the first time.
