PECG Your Voting Guide - New!
PECG has emphasized the importance of voting No on Proposition 32
to protect your political voice, your job and your pension.
PECG has also developed recommendations for other state ballot
measures and candidates in your area on the November ballot. You can
view them on the PECG Your Voter Guide at
http://www.pecg.yourvoterguide.com.
Just click through to the website, type in the address where you are
registered to vote, and hit the "View Your Voter Guide" button. The
PECG Your Voter Guide will automatically create a personal
voter guide that provides you with PECG's positions on some of the
ballot measures and on the candidates for the State Legislature that
will appear on your ballot. The website then allows you to print out
a copy of your guide to take to the polls.
The PECG Your Voter Guide also provides you with the
location of your polling place and directions to get there if you
need them.
I hope you find the
http://www.pecg.yourvoterguide.com to be a valuable resource.
Please remember to get out and vote on Tuesday, November 6.
Important:
- The PECG Your Voter Guide does not include
recommendations for every candidate and measure on your ballot. PECG
did not take a position in federal races or on seven of the eleven
ballot measures. As PECG has not endorsed a candidate in every
Assembly race and only half of the Senate seats are on the ballot,
the guide may not include recommendations for legislative candidates
in your area.
- The PECG Your Voter Guide provides recommendations only
for the addresses of registered voters. If a non-registered voter
address is used, your will receive the following message: "Pardon us
but... We couldn't find voter information for the address you
entered."
- Given the state's restrictions on partisan political activity,
PECG encourages you to access the guide from a home computer on your
own time.
