The members have elected Cathrina Barros as PECG Corporate President Elect for the next year. A Senior Transportation Engineer with Caltrans in Sacramento, Cathrina takes office in September and serves for twelve months, after which she will be PECG President for the following year. The current President Elect, Steve Lee, a Senior Transportation Engineer with Caltrans in Sacramento, becomes President in September. John Roberts, a Landscape Associate with Caltrans in Orange County and the current President, becomes Past President and Chair of PECG’s Political Action Committee.

The members also elected five other officers. Matt Hanson becomes Vice President Collective Bargaining and Chair of the Bargaining Team. Alan Escarda becomes Vice President Supervisory and Chairs PECG’s Meet and Confer Team. Terry Escarda represents employees in departments other than Caltrans as Vice President at Large. Cameron Knudson becomes Secretary and Mark Sheahan becomes Treasurer.

Elections in PECG’s seventeen Sections are also being conducted and the new officers will be announced by the Sections. Thank you to all of the candidates willing to donate their time to serve the members.
